Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are recruiting an Estimator for a Building Services Engineering Contractor. They are a successful and well established Irish M&E Contractor currently working on large projects in the commercial, retail and technology sectors in both Ireland and Europe. They need an experienced Electrical Estimator to help them further increase their already impressive array of current engineering construction projects.

Job Description:

• Procurement of Electrical Contract tenders


• Submission of tender packages to the main contractor & clients


• Valuing work in progress, calculating alterations and variations


• Liaising with engineers, architects, clients and project managers


• Building reputable relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors


• Value engineering with consultants to meet budgets

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Relevant 3^rd Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Electrical Engineering


• Trade background accompanied by very strong Electrical Estimating experience may also be considered


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Building Services


• Electrical Estimating experience absolutely essential


• Must have a good understanding of the Irish Construction Industry


• Must have strong knowledge of electrical building services equipment and supplies


• Commercial buildings experience essential


• Good communication skills


• Strong presentation skills
