Mechanical Estimator - Mayo
Job Description (Estimator):
• Procurement of Mechanical Contract tenders
• Submission of tender packages to the main contractor & clients
• Valuing work in progress, calculating alterations and variations
• Liaising with engineers, architects, clients and project managers
• Building reputable relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Value engineering with consultants to meet budgets
Desired Experience & Qualification (both):
• Relevant 3rd Level Qualification, or equivalent experience with a trades
background (HVAC)
• 2 years’ relevant experience with a Contractor, preferably M&E
• Must have a good understanding of the Irish Construction Industry
• Must have some decent knowledge of HVAC equipment and supplies
• Commercial experience preferred but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
