Permanent Position:

A premier house-building company in Ireland is recruiting for an M&E Coordinator to join their organisation which is embarking upon a significant growth trajectory lead by a highly experienced team of exceptional talent from multiple industries. For this company, quality is at the heart of everything they do, and team work is crucial to continually delivering the best solutions.

This successful candidate will be based in Maynooth with travel to other sites in the Kildare/Greater Dublin area. The successful candidate will be working on residential type projects and will oversee the Mechanical and Electrical services design and installation across projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Continuous management and monitoring of the installation quality for M&E systems over various residential projects, during the various stages of the build process
  • Support the site construction management teams in the coordination of on-site M&E installations and assist with onsite problem solving if/when issues arise
  • Coordinate with project design teams as required
  • Supervision of M&E sub-contractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achieved
  • Lead the Innovation Process in consideration and implementation of best-in-class mechanical / electrical systems and products
  • Liaise with Public Utility providers to ensure timely delivery of electricity, gas and telecommunications services to new developments acting as the single point of contact across the portfolio of Cairn student accommodation projects
  • Anticipate the requirement for modification of existing site services and expedite mains service diversions in conjunction with the Utility Providers
Qualifications:
  • Trade background preferable with appropriate certification
  • Further education in Building Services or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
  • Over 3 years post qualification experience in construction management / engineering design
  • Interest in energy management and emerging trends in residential building services design and construction
  • Team player, organised, self-motivated
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Focus on deadlines and commitment to programme delivery
  • Willing to travel between sites (Full drivers licence necessary)
